Fox eyes: how to get the sultry eye look at your next Botox appointment

If you’ve been on TikTok within the last year, you may have noticed #FoxEyes trending.

December 1, 2021

Models and influencers like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner have inspired makeup artists to create a beautiful sultry look, enhancing the eyes to make them look more lifted, like a natural cat eye look. While many have tried to recreate this look using techniques such as makeup, you can also achieve a beautiful, almond-shaped eye look with the help of a medical aesthetician. Fox eye lifts have become one of the latest trends in MedSpa procedures, with clients booking appointments to help elevate their brow shape.

What is a Fox Eye Lift?

A fox eye lift procedure is designed to lift the corners of the eyebrows to create an illusion that appears cat-like or fox-like. A general brow lift is a procedure that can change the appearance of the eye through surgical or non-invasive treatments. One great aspect of getting a fox eye brow lift is that you can choose from either permanent and semi-permanent options. A fox eye brow lift can be achieved through medical procedures, some of which are non-invasive. Depending on your skin’s elasticity and the natural contours of your face, your nurse will be able to determine the best way for you to achieve the look.

The most common and non-invasive procedure is a temporal lift, which involves using fillers or Botox to lift the edge of the eyebrows. A temporal lift tightens the skin surrounding your eyes, which can also help smooth any signs of wrinkles or crow’s feet. A temporal fox eyes lift can be done in a quick 30-minute session, usually with no recovery time, so you can hop in and out of your appointment easily. Plus, most fox eyes lift procedures require little or no recovery time. PDO threading is also another option. This procedure involves a nurse inserting dissolvable threads beneath the skin to pull back the eye. But because of the risks of scarring, we recommend trying out botox instead since it’s the more non-invasive session

One of our Upkeep user recently underwent a fox eye brow lift, and the results were stunning! Check out their fox eye lift before and after here

How long does a Fox Eye Lift last?

Depending on the type of procedure, the effects of a fox eye lift can last from 3-12 months. For a more permanent solution, you can speak to a doctor about undergoing surgery. However, if it’s your first time getting a fox eye lift, we recommend trying out a short-term temporary procedure to make sure you’re happy with the results before committing to a surgical procedure.
